There has been great results for CSH in the recent BHAA race. At the K-Club, it was a perfect day for racing with 23 CSH members competing in the 10k event. First CSH man home was Dave Hipwell 35:25 which was a PB for him, followed by Dermot Duggan and Martin Prunty. First home for the ladies was Shirley Mitchell in 42:`16, followed by Claire Egan and Lauren Evans. Well done to all and congrats to the organisers on a great race and fabulous food afterwards.
More success followed in the BHAA RTE race yesterday – first home for the club was Paul Cowhie in 26:32, followed by Bobby Bedford and then Dave Hipwell, in a great result all three came first in their respective categories. First home again for the ladies was Shirley Mitchell in 31:52 followed by Fiona Byrne and Joan O’Callaghan. Special congrats to Brendan Early in the O85 category – over 2mins faster than last year, an inspiration to all runners.
