Well done to Shirley Mitchell who was 2nd lady in the Coolaney 8km last Wednesday night. Shirley was an impressive 7th place overall, great running.
First in action this week was Eithne Ni Mhurchadha competing in Dublin Athletics Board Graded Meet No.6. finishing 4th in the Discus and 5th in the Javelin, great throwing by Eithne.
Neil O’Rourke was also competing in the Graded Meet, in the Mens 5,000m A Grade, finishing 9th in 16mins 02secs. Well done to Neil. Full results available via Dublin Athletics Board website: http://www.dublinathletics.com/
Well done to Sonia Carey and Joan O’Callahan who were 33rd and 34th ladies, with Joan running a new PB time of 20mins 35secs, in the Crusaders AC Docklands 5k on Thursday evening.
It was PB’s galore for the lads with Patrick O’Reilly first CSH’er home in 67th in 17mins 45secs, followed closely by Noel Ryan in 72nd in 17mins 51secs and Stephen Burke in 74th in 17mins 55secs. Great running by all. Full results: http://www.myrunresults.com/events/docklands_5k/1654/results
