Well done to all CSH’ers competing and training this week, and a big thank you to all of you who braved the harsh weather conditions to marshal our very own Frank Duffy 10Mile race. The ‘Frank Duffy’ is run as part of the SSE Airtricity Dublin Marathon Race Series, incorporating the Dublin Athletics 10Mile Championships, and yesterdays wind and rain certainly didn’t…. dampen any spirits 😉
Our club BBQ will take place Sat. 03rd Sept. so let Claire, Bernard or Mairead know if you will attend. A great evening is expected.
To kick things off Shirley Mitchell had an excellent race in the Celbridge A.C. 5k roadrace last Sunday, finishing 5th female overall and Winning her category in an impressive 18mins 50secs. Great running by Shirley. Full results via Popup Races website: https://www.popupraces.ie/raceresult/celbridge-ac-5k/#.V7nlTY-cHIV

Marie O’Connell was in action (52nd Senior) with Denise Williams having a great race running just inside 92mins, and Margaret Moloney continuing her great run of form (21st F55) The girls look very strong for Dublin Championship team honours with results due in the coming days on Dublin Athletics Board website: http://www.dublinathletics.com/.
