Well done to all CSH’ers competing and training this week.

Well done to all who competed in our club 2Mile league in recent weeks. The eventual winner was Alan Hutchinson, with Christy Smyth and Andrea Doyle in Joint 2nd, with Eoin Devlin and Patrick Coyle in joint 3rd. The fastest 2 Miles awards went to Eoin Devlin and Aoife Carragher. Congratulations to Alan and everyone who competed.

Well done to Eithne Ni Mhurchadha who had a medal haul in the National Masters T&F Championships on Sun. 2nd July in Tullamore. Eithne was 3rd in the W40 Javelin in a New SB of 17:33, 1st in the W40 Discus and 1st in the W40 Hammer. Well done to Neil O’Rourke who came 3rd in the Dublin Senior T&F Championships 5000m (run in conjunction with Graded Meet 6 A-Grade 3000m), finishing 3rd in a new pb time of 15mins21secs. The runners were out in force on Thurs. evening for the Dublin Docklands 5k in the City Centre. Eoin Devlin was first of our crew home in 19th place, in a time of 16mins15secs, Patrick Coyle was next in 36th place in 17:02, with Jason Reilly in 57th place, in 17:30. Jason was followed closely by Eanna Kavanagh in 60th place in 17:34, with the ever-improving Paul O’Neill in 69th in 17:46. Patrick O’Reilly was 77th in 17:56 with Andrew Moore in 18:19. John Murphy was also in action running 23mins48secs, with Ken Byrne in 20:52. Finally, congratulations to Caroline Fallon who won her category yesterday in her Triathlon debut yesterday in Athlone… full results pending.
