Well done to all the CSH members who competed recently in the 1st BHAA Road Race of the season and in the Great Ireland 10k race. In the DCC BHAA road race we had 30 members in the mens 4 mile race (including 3 ladies!) and 10 ladies in the ladies 2 mile race – a record turn out for CSH AC in a BHAA race. Well done to Paul Cowhie, Bobby Bedford, Dave Hipwell and Shirley Mitchell who all won their categories and well done also to Maire Norris and Fiona Byrne who were 2nd in their categories. Congrats to Paul Cullen, Toony Keegan and Padraig Gibbons who were 3rd in Class C team event. Special mention to Elaine Caul who is coming back from injury and competed in her first race in two years – well done Elaine. Yesterday we had the Great Ireland 10k Run in the Phoenix Park with 10 CSH AC members competing (as far as I know). Well done to them and congrats to Paul Cowhie who was first home for the club.
