There were plenty of club members taking part in races through November (and early December). Here are the highlights:

Run in the Dark 10k November 7

Congratulations to Eoin Devlin who finished first in the Run in the Dark 10k on November in a time of 33:44. Well done also to Eanna Kavanagh who finished in 10th place in 35:48. Jason Reilly also had a great run finished in 36:46. Eleni Zacharogianni was the only lady in the 10k, finishing in 45:42

Niall Heylin and Sally Lynch ran in the 5k finishing in 24:15 and 24:17 respectively. Well done guys.

BHAA Irish Life 6k November 17

It was a men-only affair at the BHAA Irish Life 6k in Santry. Yet again Eoin Devlin led the men home finishing in 6th place. Great running as usual from Eoin. Patrick Coyle also nabbled himself a place in the top 10. Well done Podge. Well done also to David Hipwell who was third in his age category. Full results were:

Gingerbread Run Portarlington Laois

We has a small group of CSHers taking part in the Gingerbread Run half marathon in Portlaoise on November 18. First home was Patricia Sheehan in a great time of 1:51:51. Well done Patricia. Sunil Singh recovered well from the marathon to finish in 1:56:39. Caroline Fallon finished in under 2 hours in a time of 1:59:02. Caroline was followed by Barry Ryan in 2:01:11 and Leonie Macauley 2:09:53

It was by all accounts a tough course so well done to everyone who raced.

Jingle Bells 5k

We had huge crowd participating in the annual Jingle Bells 5k. It’s always a good course for a fast time and this year was no exception.

Congratulations to Paul Cowhie who was first club member home in 16:29 and 2nd M50. Full men’s results were:

Dublin Intermediate Cross Country

We had a small group of men and women competing in the Dublin Intermediate Cross Country championships on a wet and windy Sunday afternoon.

First up were our ladies who were 5th placed team. 3 of the girls finished in the top 20. Great running ladies!:

Eoin Devlin was first of our men home in 5th place overall. Great running Eoin. Eoin was followed by Eanna Kavanagh in 35th and Paul O’Neill 45th. Well done guys.
